(Vacation day 1) Prince Irivin
I was awoken very early, by Coral, but I was so excited about going on my first royal vacation that I didn't care. I would be going with Coral to the Pacific Ocean represent the Atlantic. I looked outside, it was still very dark, but I was used to waking up at dawn.
"Right," I folded my arms as Coral and I grabbed our bags, "Everything ready?"
"Ready." My friend nodded grabbing six small purses and putting them into her handbag. Her sizeshifting powers had disguised our load of bags as small purses so we could bring a lot of things without Coral's parents getting suspicious.
"Wait, wait, wait!" A fast and ecstatic voice called from the window, I didn't even need to turn around to know that it was Bow.
"Hi Bow, are you ready?" Coral asked, swimming up to the angelfish.
"Yeah lets-" we all stopped talking when we saw the door open. It was the Queen, she was wearing a royal red cape,
"Eden? Coral?" She swam into the room, her blue tail flapping gracefully behind her, "Are you two ready? The slideshell is ready to go."
"Yes, Queen Ava." I replied, bowing my head.
"Please, call me Ava, but only at home. Anywhere else, you call me by my full name." I nodded. Queen Ava smiled and swam out of my bedroom.
"What's the slideshell?" I asked curiously.
"It's a massive shell carriage, it not only rides by itself, but it can float on top of the water."
"So, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Bow interrupted and zipped right past us. Coral and I giggled at the little fish's excitement and then followed her downstairs. I stared at the massive shell carriage that was waiting for us.
A posh merman swam up to us and asked for our luggage, then I sat with Coral on comfortable seats, and Bow was hiding in one of the bags that I had forgotten to give to the merman. We watched the door close automatically and the slideshell started moving.
It had been a couple of hours and even though I was pretty tired, I was too excited to sleep. Suddenly, the shell carriage came to a halt, "Hey," I turned to Coral as the door reopened, "Where are your parents?" I asked,
"They're in the one behind us." Coral replied as she pointed to another carriage that was slowing down.
"Where do we go now?" I asked,
"To our hotel rooms, all the princes and princesses stay in one hotel, and the kings and queens stay in the other." I turned around in excitement, and there was a massive building, princesses were coming in and out, along with people carrying too much luggage behind them. Good thing I shrunk our bags. "Mom, please can I show Eden the seahorses?" Coral asked the Queen who had just come out of her carriage.
"Well be careful then Coral. Ten minutes." At that, my friend sped ahead. We stopped at a long and thin building, "These are the seahorse stables." She showed me. All of the massive seahorses there looked beautiful. I stroked one but suddenly heard something from behind me. I turned around, and then, BASH! I fell to the seabed. I looked up to see what had happened, it was a grey seahorse and seconds later a grey tailed merman swam over to control it, he had short brown hair, light brown skin like mine, and sparkling brown eyes.
"Whoa... hold still there!" He stroked the restless creature. "Sorry about that." He mumbled, as he pushed the seahorse into an empty room. He offered a hand, I took his hand so that I could get up.
"Ouch." I flinched, before falling back down. I looked at my magenta fin, there was a small tear on it. The merman then knelt down and rubbed my sore fin. And I felt warmth radiate from his hand before the tear disappeared. "Thank you, you have healing powers?" I asked getting up.
"Yes… I am Prince Irivin of the Celtic Sea's Healeree Palace." He replied in a posh, yet cute voice.
"I- I'm Eden of the Northern Atlantic." I bowed, I felt myself blushing ever so slightly, and it was weird because I don't blush very often, even when I'm embarrased.
"I'm Princess Coral of the Southern Atlantic." She bowed too, but in a much more regal way. We suddenly heard Coral's mom calling us, so we waved and swam back.
I looked at Irivin one last time before heading back.
This is going to be a good vacation!
