Story: Eden Meets A Healer

Story: Eden At The Sea stone Hills
It had been a long day, I had been working very hard at land school and I was exhausted. So, I walked to my favourite my pool near the park. I dived underwater and my orange tail materialised in a flash. I swam into a magic, bubbling reef that took me to the Atlantic Ocean.
When I got there I swam around, feeling freedom surround me. I have to say it felt awesome! After swimming by the, small, bubbly fish, I saw a tall large hill, it looked almost like a cliff of some sort. Suddenly, I heard rumbling in the distance and the seabed began to shake, "Uh oh." I whispered. Before I could swim away, I heard a small voice yelling over the loud rumbling.
"Help!" It called, "Please help me!"
It was a small merboy with black hair and a grey tail. He was underneath the cliff and his young tail would never be able to get him out on time.
The rumbling grew louder the seabed shook harder... and the large seastones at the top of the cliff looked asks if they were going to collapse. Without thinking, I zipped over to where the boy was, he looked utterly terrified. I suddenly saw that the rocks were beginning to fall and it was too late to swim away. Then I remembered. I held up my hand and used my water powers to push the seastones away as they came down. I heard the boy behind me gasp,
"Cool!"
I was concentrating hard, I had never used so much magic before I was shaking from the strain and I had to stop myself yelling. But despite this, I continued to push the rocks away with all my power. After the mini-seaquake had stopped I held the makeshift barrier for a few seconds to check that no more rocks were falling. There were none. I parted my hands and let the shield dissapear. "Wow, that is totally awesome!" The merboy cheered, I forgot he was with me. I smiled at the nine year old, but suddenly, I clutched my chest, it was burning from exhaustion. My tail gave out and I collapsed to the sand. I never thought that creating a water current would drain so much of my energy. I felt a small, gentle hand on my shaking shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?"
I nodded slowly, and after a minute or so, I sat up as carefully as possible.
"I'm fine. What about you?" I asked.
"I'm okay. That was awesome!"
"Whoa..." I mumbled. I felt unbearably hot, my tail and head were aching, I was breathing heavily, and overall, I just felt sick from using so much magic.
"Hey, you don't look well." The nine year old noticed. He looked at my tail, "Your tail looks hurt. Maybe I can fix that for you."
I nodded but then I wondered how he could tell, there was only one explanation. He waved his hand and he put a hand to my tail and a wave of green magic went through it. I sighed in relaxation as the magic massaged my tail. He took his hands off my tail and the magic vanished.
"Thanks." I smiled gratefully, "Are you a merhealer?" I asked finally.
"Yeah."
I had never seen a healer in person, and thanks to him, my tail felt much better. However, my energy was still depleted. I got to my fin and looked up at the cliff. I put a hand to my head,
"Ugh! Man, I have a headache."
The young merman swam over to a coral branch and broke a small flower off of it.
"Here, eat this. It's a strengthening flower."
I took it and ate it, then suddenly I felt large wave of adrenaline course through me. Then, in a blast of colourful bubbles, my energy was back.
"Thank you," I gasped, amazed at the energy surrounding me. "You're the first healer I've seen in person!"
The boy smiled,
"I'm Prince Dylan. There's a whole city of merhealers called Healeree Colony."
"Wow..." I whispered, "I'm Eden, I'm a half mermaid. I wonder if I could visit sometime."
"A half mermaid? My auntie, Queen Reefs, is the ruler of the colony. She's told me about you, she wants to meet you at the Healeree palace sometime."
I nodded
"I'll go now then." I smiled.
